Ready to sell your car?
Tell us about it and the team will get in touch to discuss an assessment. You can sell to JTK without buying another car from us.
Tell us about your carStart with the car you have.
Enter your registration to find your vehicle’s details. Check that they match, confirm the car belongs to you, then add the current mileage and a description of its condition. Choose Dungarvan or Lismore as your preferred branch and leave your contact details.
You can review everything before sending. The team will use your enquiry to discuss whether the car is suitable and arrange any inspection needed before an offer can be agreed.
The details that help with an assessment.
A registration lookup identifies the car, but its value also depends on how it has been used and looked after. Tell us about its service history, recent work, damage and any faults. If there is outstanding finance, mention that so the team can discuss what needs to be established.
- The current odometer reading in kilometres.
- Service records and recent maintenance.
- Any damage, warning lights or mechanical issues.
- Anything else you would want someone buying your car to know.
You do not need to send registration documents or financial paperwork through this form. The team can explain which documents are needed when discussing the sale.
What happens after your enquiry?
You’ll receive an email reference, and your preferred branch will have the details you submitted. The team will contact you to discuss the car and the next step. Sending an enquiry does not commit you to selling, and the registration check does not produce an instant valuation.
Any offer, inspection, payment and handover arrangements need to be agreed with JTK. Contact the branch before travelling with the car.
A few useful answers.
Do I need to buy a car from JTK?
No. This service is for an outright sale. If you are replacing your car with one from JTK, you can include a trade-in in that vehicle’s enquiry instead.
Will I receive an instant price?
No. The registration lookup supplies vehicle details. The team also needs its mileage, condition and history, and may need to inspect it before agreeing an offer.
What if my car has outstanding finance?
Mention it in your enquiry. The outstanding finance and any settlement arrangements must be established before a sale can be completed.
What if the registration lookup does not find my car?
Check the registration and try again. If the details still do not match, contact the branch. Do not confirm a different vehicle to continue.
Can I offer a car that needs repairs?
You can send an enquiry and describe the work needed. The team will review the details and discuss whether the car is suitable; submitting the form does not guarantee an offer.
Changing cars instead?
If you have your eye on something in our stock, open its listing and start an enquiry with your trade-in attached. That keeps both cars together for the team.
